The Redmi Note 9 India launch has been teased officially by Xiaomi with hashtag #ILoveRedmiNote on social media account. The teaser video by the Redmi India actor Ranveer Singh talking about the India launch of budget smartphone the Redmi Note 9 smartphone. However, It is unclear whether the Pro model will be released on the same day or not. In a separate tweet, this one by Xiaomi India head and global vice president Manu Kumar Jain alludes to March 12th as the Redmi Note 9 India launch date.

In an official tweet, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 series is set to launch on March 12.

The teasers reveal that upcoming Redmi Note 9 will have fast charging support, possibly 27W out-of-the-box, same as the Poco X2 that was launched in India last month. Also, it will launch exclusively on Amazon India.
The Redmi Note 9 series will be the successor of Redmi Note 8 which is presently sold in India at a starting price of Rs 10,499 after a recent price hike. It is also expected to feature Quad rear cameras, and one of them is a 64-megapixel primary sensor same as Redmi Note 8 pro with minor changes. In terms of battery, the Redmi Note lineup may feature up to a 4,500mAh battery life. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with Adreno 618 GPU inside. It would have a 6.53-inch aqua-colored 3D glass back display panel, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and Android 10 based MIUI, also support 4K video recording and high-speed AMOLED displays.
The device may come with a notch-less or a dual punch-hole display and possibly 27W out-of-the-box like POCO X2 out of the box.
Talk about price the redmi Note 9 non pro variant comes with 10499 after the hike in tax and the pro variant starts with 15999 with 6+8 GB RAM.
