At first glance, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is nearly identical from its predecessor. Both have the same stylish design. The new fitness tracker now has a colored AMOLED display, AI assistant integration, and improved exercise tracking baked into the Mi Band 4.

The Mi Band 4, retains the same design as its popular predecessor, but Xiaomi has now finally made the upgrade to its fitness band. The Mi Band 4 features a colored 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen, higher resolution at 240 x 120, with a maximum brightness of over 400nits. There’s scratch-resistant 2.5D glass protection atop the touchscreen and anti-fingerprint coating to prevent smudges, thus, making it a major upgrade over the Mi Band 3. The display is 33% larger than its predecessor Mi Band 3, the Mi Band 4 weighs just 22g.

The display is now colored, which means there’s more scope for the creation of some creative dial faces. There’s a selection of over 50 options in the Mi Fit app, just pick the one you like.
The biggest highlight in Xiaomi MI band 4 is in the form of an AI voice assistant. Xiaomi has included Xiao AI aboard its fitness tracker and you can now swipe right on the dial face to access the same. Also, You can swipe up on the screen to see weather information, unread notifications, your daily fitness stats, get a heart rate reading, and manually initiate a workout, but the heart rate sensor at the bottom remains unchanged.

Apart from AI, the Mi Band 4 has 50-meter water resistance and a 6-axis accelerometer which sounds great, and It’s capable of recognizing six major activities and that’ll also include track outdoor running, walking, weight training, treadmill, cycling, and swimming. The charging pins have now moved from the side to the bottom.
