Mi 10 Youth Edition has added a new member in the MI Family called MI 10 youth edition. The Mi 10 Youth Edition is the mid-range 5G smartphone. The design of the device and internals remain the same as MI 10 lite, but the difference is in the camera department.

Design and Display

The MI 10 Youth Edition comes with a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It has 1080 x 2400 scene resolution, and no high refresh rate, which is sad news for MI fans. It does support the 180Hz touch sampling rate and HDR10+.

The device is available in five different color options including Black, White Peach, Blueberry Mint, Milk Green, and Peach Grapefruit.

Performance

Under the hood the device is powered by Qualcomm mid-range Snapdragon 765G SoC that has integrated Snapdragon X52 modem, which means it does support dual-band 5G connectivity. It is paired with up to 8GB of LPDDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 built-in storage.

Battery

Xiaomi MI 10 Youth Edition equipped with a 4,160mAh battery and has a 20W fast charging. It runs Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box.

Camera

In the optics department, Mi 10 Youth Edition packs with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree FOV, a 2MP macro camera to take micro shots, and finally a new 8MP periscope camera (found on P30 Pro and Galaxy S20 Ultra). with 50X periscopic zoom, 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid optical zoom.

It also supports optical image stabilization (OIS) for better stable video recording. On the front the device supports 16MP selfie camera.

Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, the device features Dual SIM with Dual 5G support, 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, liquid cooling system, and NFC. It has all the basics sensors available on a smartphone.
