OnePlus could soon launch its new OnePlus lineup series: OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Lite. The leaks of the OnePlus 8 have been coming from time to time, the design of the OnePlus 8 Pro was first leaked in CAD renders back in October 2019.
Some alleged OnePlus 8 Pro leaked live images have been spotted on Weibo this week. According to the leaks, the OnePlus 8 Pro showing off a vertical quad-camera setup on the back and a punch-hole display on the front left mount.
We cannot say whether these OnePlus 8 Pro live images are real or fake. The vertical camera setup on the back sees three sensors, while a fourth sensor camera module also shows a 3D ToF unit which is located on the left side of the camera. There’s also an LED flash just below the camera setup.
OnePlus 8 Specs
At the front also shows a big, curved display with a single punch-hole screen on the top left corner. According to the report, the OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a punch-hole selfie camera instead of a motorized pop-up camera mechanism. The display size is said to be around 6.65-inch Fluid AMOLED display with slim bezels for the Pro model and 6.5-inch for the regular OnePlus 8. Both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones are expected to come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both Smartphone OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro feature the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU with 5G support. Meanwhile, the report suggests that there is another variant that is the OnePlus 8 Lite that could be powered by a mid-range processor (might be MediaTek) and triple rear camera as it is expected to be an affordable smartphone. The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro are tipped to launch in the market in March or April. Other brands like Xiaomi, Realme (Realme X50 PRO), iQOO are launching Snapdragon 865-powered 5G phones in India this week.

OnePlus 8 Series: What to expect
OnePlus is expected to have three smartphones this year. This year, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro and the budget OnePlus 8 Lite. All the three smartphones are expected to launch in late March or the first half of April. The rumors indicate that the OnePlus 8 Pro sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with in-display Punch whole camera and 120Hz refresh rate. This could be the same panel seen on the newly arrived Galaxy S20+. While Samsung limits 120Hz to Full HD+ resolution, OnePlus might offer support for a fast refresh rate even at QHD+ resolution.
